Throughout its life time, the center served the university in numerous ways, taking full advantage of the many advances in modern technologies. Its major contribution, however, has been in the educational process. It thus served the academic staff, students, and the university at large. It made available instant display of theses and dissertation discussions, seminars, conferences, and provided full retrievable documentations of academic and social events. Well-equipped and staffed, the center has always provided live transmissions and instant participations of concerned members in various locations. Naturally, the center has been instrumental in the establishment of the Deanship of E-Education and remote learning approved last year by the University Council.
