In the context of implementing its strategic vision toward strengthening and promoting scientific research as well as building international partnership in the field of research and development, King Saud University intends to invite this year (2007-2008) and next year a number of Nobel Laureates in order to discuss with them aspects and areas of research collaboration.  Nobel Prize winners will also give lectures and hold scientific conferences.  This special Program is geared toward helping to enrich the academic and scientific milieu at the University and across the Kingdom through benefiting from the ideas, expertise, and contributions of such scholars in their respective areas of specialization, including medicine, economics, physics, and chemistry.
