Research Chair Headlines

New Research Chair in Pharmaceutics
Dr. Fars Alanazi, the Department Chairman, announced that the department has won a research chair in Pharmaceutics. Active endeavors are underway to start working in this research chair.

Department Contributions to Health Care
The drug manufacturing units in the department are currently contributing to replenishing the drug supplies in King Khalid University Hospital and other hospitals.

MS & PhD Programs
The department graduate committee is reviewing the applicants for both the MS and PhD programs for the next academic year.

Pharm.D. Program
Active steps are undertaken towards the implementation of the new Pharm.D. program. The program is planned to be launched in the first semester of the next academic year.

Pharmaceutical Technology Center (PTC) is a Research Chair fully sponsored by Dr. Walid Amin Al-Kayyali. This Center is established under the hospice of the Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University.

This Research Chair will play an important role in transferring and sharing the knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical technology and manufacturing.
