His Excellency, Dr. Al Othman Inaugurates The Medical Research Chairs Next Wednesday.

His Excellency, Professor Abdullah bin Abdurrahman Al Othman, King Saud University Rector, will inaugurate the Medical Research Chairs Program next Wednesday (24 Rabea Thani 1429H) in the main hall of the College of Medicine at King Saud University.

This was reported by His Excellency Professor Ali bin Saeed Al Ghamdi, King Saud University Deputy-Rector for Branches Affairs and supervisor of the research chairs, who referred to the importance of this program, mainly in promoting the scientific research and training, and generating knowledge for the professionals and the members of the society, utilizing this knowledge to improve the quality of health services, researchers, and doctors in the Kingdom, as part of the Research Chair Program recently inaugurated by the University.

On his side, Professor M'saed bin Mohamed Al Salman, Dean of the College of Medicine and supervisor of the University Hospitals, added that these medical research chairs aim mainly at spreading health awareness in the society and establishing  a real scientific and research partnership with local and international research centers and universities.

It is worth mentioning that it was agreed to establish twenty medical research chairs in various domains and specialties in medicine.
