| |
• To review the University need of part-time teaching staff for teaching at University
Colleges and Institutes, and to propose regulations to identify rules that govern the
use of non-faculty members in lecturing in light of teaching loads of the faculty
members in academic Departments. |

• To check teaching loads of the faculty members and their equivalents in all academic
Departments at the University, to ascertain compliance with established rules, including
extra hours, and numbers of students in existing groups, and the appropriateness of the
teaching load to the numbers of faculty members in the Department. |

• To recommend to allow faculty members to supervise theses, and teaching outside the
university, in accordance with regulations specified for that purpose. |
| |
• To review whatever referred to it by the Vice President for Educational and cademic
Affairs regarding the teaching load. |
