1. Reviewing the bylaws of educational tours related to the undergraduate courses and determining which science related courses that need scientific tours as part of study in all the faculties of the university.

2. Examining educational tour requests submitted by the faculties and determining to what extent there is a need for it provided that all regulations have been met.

3. Examining any other issues related to educational tours.

 

1. The objectives of the trip should be clear and related to the nature of the course and syllabus; the cause behind choosing the place should be determined.

2. The tour program and activities to be performed should be clarified and the duration of the trip should not exceed three consecutive days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), except in case of necessity with acceptable justification.

3. A detailed budget in accordance with the Student Educational Tour Form should be proposed (see attached form).

4. The number of faculty members in an educational tour should not be more than one, that is the professor of the course who may be accompanied by a demonstrator or a technician so that the ratio (1) supervisor for every (10) students.

5. A list of students names enrolled or expected to be enrolled in the course for which the Educational tour is proposed should be attached.

6.  The means of transport to and from the place of the tour and the place of residence should be determined.

7.  The tour approval request should be submitted to the Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs – the Chairman of the Permanent Committee of the student educational tours – at least a month in advance before the actual date of the tour.

8.  It is preferable that student educational  tours should be limited to high academic levels (the fourth level and above).
