The main functions of the Vice Rectorate can be summed up as follows:
• Following up colleges and departments in developing academic plans and programs

• Monitoring students activities and Students funds in coordination with the Deanship of Students Affairs

• Assisting colleges and departments in preparing academic programs in a manner that suits the developmental processes and selection of the means that will help achieve them as well as suggesting new mechanisms for developing the academic plans and programs.

• Supervising the mechanisms of developing the academic plans and programs.

• Preparing the guidelines, plans and models that achieve excellent and advanced performance in preparing the academic plans.

• Following up the new developments in the academic plans and programs at the local and the international levels.

• Coordinating with the relevant bodies inside and outside KSU to organize workshops and training courses in the educational and academic fields.

• Supervising the implementation of KSU admission policies at the stage of university education.
