This unit sets the modern
mechanisms and methods for generating new ideas in the field
of university education, developing the educational process,
benefit from the international expertise and trials, turn
the ideas and concepts into real projects and programs to be
applied in the university or society. Thus, the main
activities of the unit is to identify the best practices at
the advanced higher education organizations abroad, and
identify the aspects of benefit from them, based on the
priorities of the university and after conditioning them to
its needs. This unit studies also the difficulties and
problems of the different academic and administrative units
in the university, with the aim of diagnosing them and
knowing their causes and providing the proposals that help
in finding the proper solutions for such problems.
Process
Engineering Unit
The duties of the process
engineering unit include studying the latest administrative
methods and styles in achieving jobs and duties. The process
engineering section reorganizes the processes in a manner to
ensure high efficiency and quality in performance of the
jobs and transactions within the university units easily and
properly. The section provides also consultancy for
procedures facility and process automation, modernizing
systems and comprehensive modeling for the university
sections and departments to cope with the comprehensive
development of the university.
Quality
Assurance Unit
This unit is interested in
applying quality standards at the Development Deanship as a
key unit assuring quality with the aim of achieving
excellence of the university and application of
international standards of excellence. This section will
develop the performance standards for the Deanship, methods
of measurement, as well as the targets to be achieved,
follow up of deviations in the Deanship plans and programs.
Reporting &
Future Studies Unit
The reporting unit is concerned
with providing the decision makers at the university and
units with an accurate scientific vision in the fields of
administrative and academic development in the university.
It aims at enabling the university officers to set the
policies, strategies and programs in coherence with the
reality position of the university. This unit is also
responsible for following up the indicators of strengths and
weaknesses, opportunities and challenges and viewing the
future and focusing on the new trends of university
development. The reporting unit provides also scientific
consultancy, develop scientific solutions and conduct
researches that help the academic and administrative
enhancement.
