Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds

On the occasion of the launch of the newly developed website of the Deanship of Graduate Studies in King Saud University, I would like to welcome you, dear visitors, hoping that you may find pleasure and benefit and get acquainted with the diverse Units of the Deanship and the roles played by these units.

It is not unknown that the Deanship shoulders great responsibilities as it takes charge of the application of the Unified Law for Graduate Studies in Saudi Universities as well as the Rules and Regulatory and Executive Measures of Graduate Studies in King Saud University. It is imperative, therefore, that the Deanship should ensure standards of quality assurance of the programs of graduate studies in the University (the programs have exceeded ninety programs: doctorate, master, high diploma and medical fellowship), so as to upgrade research and keep pace with global universities which have progressed in the field of scientific research.

The mission of the Deanship, via managing the graduate studies programs in the University, is to continuously encourage all colleges in the University to offer vital programs that are inherently related with the principal objectives of the University, that is, to serve the local community and graduate distinguished and highly qualified students and that such programs could meet the Kingdom's needs that go in line with its goals and developmental plans.

May Allah Almighty assist the Deanship in achieving its mission properly and in a way that could satisfy Him. May peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.
