Deanship Duties

Deanship of Admission and Registration Affairs has important responsibilities in addition to follow-up the students academically and up to graduation, with God well. Of those tasks and responsibilities: the provision of all information on the university, faculties and its specializations, the announcement of the university's admission requirements, academic rules and regulations, the distribution of pamphlets, manuals and answers the queries about them, and the preparation of statistics required by the various bodies within and outside the University, which contributes to highlight university role in the national awakening march. Deanship tasks and responsibilities are no longer limited to the activities and administrative and technical work within the university only; but it has other responsibilities that extend outside the university because of the urgent demands of the rapid developments in academic institutions and its regulations, of the importance of a continued cooperation and coordination between the various units within the university, and the others outside.
Deanship of Admission and Registration since the establishment has witnessed a comprehensive development in all its aspects; organizational, administrative or technical, that amounted to what it is now, shifting from the traditional paper-based dealings for completing its work at the beginning of its inception; to the expanded use of computer in the delivery of many of the tasks and works, and so it developed many of the systems and programs that have contributed to facilitate implementing works and speeding off the service delivery, and still makes a lot of developmental efforts aiming at the development of work mechanism in order to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in the accomplishment of its tasks and responsibilities.
