Computer center  

Computer Center was Founded in 1430H to make use of Information technology in both the administrative and academic affairs. The Center aims to develop and improve the administrative and academic departments in the college. The main targets of the Center are as follows:

• Using computers as integral tools for performing all operations in all College Units to ensure accuracy and to save time and effort.
• Offering technical support for all computer users.
• Saving the database of all College computerized units, protecting files and restoring them on emergency.
• Ensuring the availability of all means of electronic communication via College Website and e-mail.

Activities

• Management and maintenance of the Computer Labs.
• Training of students on computer applications.
• Organizing courses on latest developments in this field for members of the College teaching staff.
• Preparation of statistical analysis programs for College teaching staff.
• Data entry for researches.
• Providing technical support in all computer programs and applications for both of the College teaching staff and employees.
• Carrying on maintenance works for all computers that are used by all the College affiliates.
• Management of the College internal computer network and providing maintenance and development necessary for it to work properly.
• Providing assistance in semester registration works with technical support for all College sections.

Future Strategies

• Execution of studies and projects for overseas bodies in order to benefit from the Center’s technical and scientific capabilities and to have the Center secure the financial resources it needs instead of exhausting the university budget.
