The lab was established on the vision of establishing a training, research and referential center in the basic applied and medical science fields for science and medical studies departments for female students at King Saud University.

 

The lab is an important tool in medical and applied science research that stimulates scientific research, training and knowledge settling with modern technology; it also creates a generation of distinguished researchers in the scientific fields who are able to play a leading role in helping the Saudi society to benefit from the biological technology applications.

1.   Providing the necessary modern scientific instruments for research.

2.   Helping female students of post graduates studies to accomplish their research experiments through training them on how to use these scientific instruments, how to prepare samples, how to
analyze and conclude the results.

3.   Conducting research experiments and lab analysis for female researchers of teaching staff members

4.   Providing research services for concerned individuals outside the University.

5.   Recognizing different modern scientific instruments and applications for Bachelor female students.

6.   Offering training courses for female scientific departments technicians on how to use and run different scientific instruments
as well as enhancing technician’s functional performance.

7.   Attracting highly qualified technicians and preparing them through scientific courses in different vital technical majors.

8.   Improving the central lab and supplying it with most qualified technicians and most modern scientific technology in order to be as qualified as the global central labs.
