Physica Club Concludes its activities for this year


The Physica Club concluded its activities for the university year 1429-1430 on last Saturday in the presence of the supervisor of science and medical studies departments, Dr. Amal Bint Jameel Fatani, who expressed her admiration of the club. Her address had positive impact on the support of the female students. Then the supervisor of the club and the deputy head of the Physics and Astronomy Department Dr Awatif Hindi delivered her speech. While members of the club were honored, notably the club's manager Sheikhah Al Mousa. The Executive Committee, which consists of Banan al-Banna, Sarah Al Yamani, Sarah Al Yamani, Saja Al Qaseer, Ghada Al Dossari and Manal Al Kathiri, was also honored. The club also thanked members of the teaching staff who support the club, notably by Dr Awatif Hindi and Dr. Leila Babesil.

 
The club presented a documentary film on the history of the club which is full of activity, despite the few number of its members. The most prominent of its activities were the Experiments Week, the Exhibition of an Invention Story, the quantum theory lecture delivered by Dr. Omar Al-Dosari, and a trip to the Standards Organization, in addition to a training course on the Mathematika program presented by Dr. Awatif Hindi, and a training course on the basics of electronic circuits, presented by Professor Amjad Mazhar, the Astronomy Week, the physical and photography contest under the title take a photo of physics with your lens. It was the first of its kind at the university level. The club also participated on the activities of the Open Day held by the University
