Closing Ceremony of the Activities of the Center of Science and Medical Studies Departments

                    
The Activities Department held on Sunday, 7/6/1430 (31 May 2009) the closing ceremony of the activities of the academic year 1429-1430 in the presence of the Supervisor General of the Science and Medical Studies departments, Dr Amal Jameel Fatani and the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs for Female Students, Dr. Bunayah Al Rasheed .

The ceremony included several programs. In the outset, Dr. Fatani delivered a speech on this occasion, followed by an address of Dr. Bunayah Al Rasheed who expressed her thanks for the efforts of the Center’s Activities Department and the students who participated in these activities. Then the Supervisor General of the college students’ activities, Afaf Albraikan delivered a speech in which she thanked the university administration for its support to the extra-curricular activities and the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Dean of Student Affairs Professor Fahd Al Musned and the Deputy Dean of students Affairs Dr. Bunayah Al Rasheed. She spoke about the activities undertaken at the Center during the year and thanked the supervisors of the activities, the Center staff and the students who participated in these activities. The Student Abeer al Jumai’ah delivered a poem entitled “Al Ibdaa” (creativity). Then the Computer Club presented competitions while the Physica club screened a documentary film about the Club and a theatrical episode by Student / Zainab Al Ruwaili. After that, Student Hala Jawahirji delivered a poem. At the end of the program, the students who won the award of the College Dean Professor Fahd Al Musnad were honoured. 

The participants in the activities, the students of the prayers area and the students’ clubs, the teaching staff members who took part in the lectures held in the Activity Center and the activity supervisors in the scientific colleges were also honoured.
