Transfer Requirements 
 
 

Transferring to the University :

First :
It is allowed upon the approval of the faculty dean that the student is willing to transfer to what he is admitted from out of the university in accordance with the following conditions:
1- The student should have studied at a recognized faculty or university,
2- That he should not be dismissed from the university he is transferring from for disciplinary or teaching reasons,
3- That he meet the transferring conditions specified by the faculty council,
4- The number of required units that the transferred student should study at King Saud
5- University must not be less than 60% of the entire units for the B.A/B.SC degree required by the university.

Second : the faculty council equates courses that the student has studied out of the university according to the recommendations' of the department's councils and the student's academic record, but they do not count in his aggregate average.

Third : if tit turns out after the transfer that the student was dismissed for disciplinary or educational reasons, his registration is cancelled effective from the date of his transfer to the university.

Fourth : transferring the student is done in any semester from one university to another in accordance with the announced procedures and dates at the university to which he is transferred in light of the general conditions of transfer.

Transfer from One Faculty to Another :

First :
it is allowed by the approval of the deans of the two faculties in accordance with the conditions determined by the student is willing to transfer to.

Second :
all courses previously taken by the student, together with the scores and aggregate averages are fixed in the academic record of the student who is transferred from one faculty to another.

Transfer from one Specialty to another within the Faculty :

First :
it is allowed that the student transfers from one specialty to another after the approval of the dean of the faculty in accordance with conditions set by the faculty council.

Second : all courses previously taken by the student, together with the scores and aggregate averages are fixed in the academic record of the student who is transferred from one faculty to another.
