      The issue in hand is the last in the current academic year. For the first time, Resalah newspaper is issued during the final exam period. In the past, it stopped at the beginning of the final exams. This is, of course, an additional time accomplishment for Resalah newspaper. 

      Since it is the last issue, let me enumerate some accomplishments made throughout this academic year.

1.Resalah pages have upped from 16 to 32, covering numerous topics, opinions and events. Yet, I think Resalah pages should go up to cover additional topics and events.

2. Resalah is issued now in a new stylebook: the pages are colored and every section is made in a color code.

3. Resalah website was launched. In the past, it had been PDF-converted files. Now, it is an enewspaper posted in Arabic English.

4. The distribution figures have gone up 30% against the past academic year. Demands are received to raise the figures.

5.  The advertisement room has enlarged. This reflects the desire of business conductors to publicize their products amongst the very bracket of Resalah readership.

6. Resalah issued regular copies on Braille way for people with disabilities in tandem with student deanship. This is, certainly, a breakthrough in services offered to students and personnel with disabilities.

7. Resalah has made a strong network of reporters in every section on campus, particularly, in scientific and literary sections. Resalah unveiled strong desires of female journalists interested in journalism. 

      Despite all remarkable accomplishments, Resalah thinks it was remiss of it not to cover everything since it is issued weekly. It wished it could have had a better interaction with colleges and departments and could have got a larger reporting by girls and women. 

      At the end of the academic year, I would like to praise Allah Almighty, Exalted be He, and thank H.E. Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman, King Saud University president, for he is the person backing these accomplishments up. Resalah could not have made these achievements without his staunch support . Also, I thank those officials on campus who paid larger attention to Resalah and wrote up for it out of interacting with the goings-on on-campus. I thank also the readership whose satisfaction Resalah seeks. Finally, I thank Resalah members of staff one and all.  

      Resalah carries on this summer, if Allah so wills, seeking additional achievements in the coming academic year. It shall carry on posting the past issues up till it archives all issues of the current academic year.  

      I would not talk about future steps since new surprises are ahead. However, Resalah, in brief, seeks achieving pioneering in campus newspapers at the level of the Arab world.
