Biotech Conf. Opens
The 1st International Biotech Conference opened last Monday Feb. 16th, 2009 under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Angary, the Minster of Higher Education. The two-day conference - Towards Building Knowledge-based Economy – presented a number of papers on new developments in Nano biotech researches, uses in agriculture, medicine, industry and environment.
The excellence Research center in Biotech fosters the King Saud University KSU) relationships with other universities. It is one of the four centers funded by SR 200 millions, said Professor Dr. Abdullah al-Osman, the KSU president.
