Two-year Accomplishments

Two years have passed since the King Saud University (KSU) chose to develop to be a world-class university. No one would have predicted that the it might achieve such rank in a set record time.
Studied at the USA universities, I - and others - remember that the position of a university president was a competitive position sought by people from in or outside the USA. The pre-requisite of this position is to foster the stature of the university, upping its revenues.
The president presents a four-year program at least and shows it on public, then starts. By time, his credibility is tested.
Despite that two years are short for making accomplishments, they elapse with remarkable achievements not only pan-Arab universities but also throughout developing and developed countries. These accomplishments might outweigh those occurred in decades throughout campus history.
Development process goes on and we expect more achievements in the coming period. This, however, requires more efforts by students, faculty members and academic departments.
