Wanna be an Outstanding Writer: Student
The King Saud University (KSU) should coordinate with Islamic schools in India to bring students here to learn Arabic and genuine Islamic creed, said Abdul Waheed Abdul-Qadir, a sophomore at the Arabic Language Institute, iin an interview.
Resalah: Why have you joined the KSU?
Abdu-Qadir: For having top-notch faculty members teaching the Arabic language.
Resalah: What was your first impression about the campus?
Abdu-Qadir: I saw development everywhere when I was on campus for the first time; the King Saud University (KSU) harnessed everything to serve education. However, it still needs a lot to do to go in line with world-class universities. I liked the big buildings, and top-notch education media, the maintenance of which need many regulations to be worked out.
Resalah: What about your relationship with the Saudis?
Abdu-Qadir: I know no one of them save the building officers. I am optimistic about having good relations with them.
Resalah: What do your aspire to be?
Abdu-Qadir: I want to be an outstanding writer and a top-notch Islamic caller presenting the true image of Islam to people. My thesis is: When and why the Muslim Mentalities stop being creative and innovative: reasons and solutions.
Resalah: What advice you give to new students coming here on scholarships?
Abdu-Qadir: Do not waste your precious time in nothingness. Just go read books and write things for the future generation to develop your mentality.
Resalah: Do you have any ideas for KSU?
Abdu-Qadir: I think that the KSU should run coordination with Islamic medares (schools) students in my country to enable them continue studying Islam and Arabic and leading a better life.
Resalah: A final word thru Resalah
Abdul-Qadir: I thank the government of Saudi Arabia from the bottom of my heart. Also, I do thank the KSU president who spare no efforts to fulfill students needs.
