Student Seeks Radical Change in Muslim World

In an interview with Resalah, student Ali Badr Cessi, a Senegalese student, talked about his dreams and hopes and gives advice to his colleagues who left their home countries to focus on knowledge pursuit.
Narrating the way he joined the King Saud University (KSU), student Ali Badr said he had given his credentials to his colleagues who submitted his file on behalf of him thinking that he might not be accepted.
Describing his impression when he came to the KSU for the first time, he said he believed it was a good place for learning and all that one should do was just studying hard.
Terming his relationship with the Saudi students as brotherly as urged in Islam, Badr said, “It is a good relation fostered by bonds of humanities, Islam, study, and Sharia knowledge. However, I do not know some Saudi studying with me for some reasons belonging to me and them. Yet, we treat one another in a good manner. “
Badr is looking forward to make a change within the Arab world to help them turn from developing nations into developed nations. “I pray Allah to help me achieve my dreams to see the Muslim nations developed ones.”
He likes giving advice to his colleagues who left their home countries like him for knowledge pursuit, “I remind my colleagues that they have limited time here to learn, should seek knowledge, and sharpen their skills. They should bear in mind that their peoples are waiting for them to teach them and they should not dishearten them.”
