Riyadh Techno Incubator Becomes NBIA Member
Riyadh Techno Incubator (RTI) was approved of to be a member of the American National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) thanks to ample support by the King Saud University (KSU), said Dr. Mazeed Al-Turkawy, the executive director. “The idea of technology incubation lies in making marketing innovative ideas easier by setting up innovative companies; creating an environment promoting creativity; marketing the intellectual property; and luring foreign investors.”
“The (RTI) is part of Riyadh Techno Valley (RTV) project that targets promoting the KSU an academic and research entity meeting the labor market needs. The RTV is a serious effort from the part of the KSU to realize the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to transform the Kingdom into a knowledge-based economy with the cooperation of institutions of higher learning and the private sector.”
Stressing the importance of being a member of NBIA, saying, “It is a pioneer in hosting enterprises. It provides specialists and supporting education means. It promotes exchanging inter-member relationships, guaranteeing support to the start-ups,” added Al-Turkawy.
