Better Environment, Better Knowledge

Believing that the environment is one of the factors that forge a person's character, the King Saud University (KSU) does its utmost to provide students with an ideal environment for knowledge. Last week, the KSU inked a number of giant construction projects thanks to Allah Almighty. The contracts value is 10 billions and 300 millions Saudi riyals.
The projects will effectively contribute to the future plans and long-term strategies of the KSU. They are for setting up a university city for girls; enlarging the medical city; and creating new colleges for guys. They are backed up by H.M. King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz.
Pursuing to be a pioneer university, the KSU seeks to provide highly-designed, high-tech buildings helping the undergraduates to learn within high-academic criteria to be sensed by students after the new project are executed. They projects are to reach an end within 30 months for the university city, 24 months for the medical city project.
Seeking to upgrading woman status and learning, the leadership has earmarked millions for upgrading old Elishah and Malaz Campuses that do not cope with a university seeking pioneering. The KSU wants to provide a high academic environment for she-students to make them firm milestones of the nation and international knowledge altogether.
The medical city enlargement works are made in response to the KSU mission to the community. They shall double the current services from 900 to 1800 beds and from 700.000 to one million services a year.
These projects target the interest of the homeland and citizens. The KSU serves the knowledge and provides what it takes to beef up research and knowledge process to reach distinction.
