More than 25000 students are admitted in 2007- 08 academic year to various academic majors in the university and its branches outside Riyadh, said Abdullah Al-Salman, dean of admission and registration deanship. The deanship adopted a new electronic way to submit via the internet. This would make things easy for students; they just need to fill in forms and select majors they like, he added.

“The figure of male students applied via the internet hits more than    30.000, while that of female students hits more than 20.000 students”, Al-Salman said. The most favored majors were the unified program of medical colleges, engineering, computer science, law, architecture and business administration.
