Smile, You Are at KSU!

      Smile, you are at King Saud University! This motto reflects the new, de facto situation in KSU since H.E. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Uthman steered it onto the new course one year earlier. Using his dynamic character, friendly personality, humbleness and faithfulness, he freed the university from despair and decline of morale sensed amongst the students, staff members, and professors.

      Everybody knows that Prof Al-Uthman has always stressed the staunch support by the Saudi leadership; the real dynamo of change process on campus.

      Other big institutions and celebs have received the same solid support from the leadership; yet, they did not make the change Professor AL-Uthman has done. His success is attributed to the crystal clear vision he adopts to place the KSU amongst the leading ones within the few coming years.

      The motto: Smile, you are at KSU! was not coined by the rector, a vice-rector, or a committeeman. Rather, it is a product of the goings-on sensed by people on and off campus on a semi-daily basis. It is a real hustle and bustle mirrored in a series of academic and administrative works undertaken by the university during the past months. The works have proved success.

      Given this, the staff members are in the best mood against the past decades. The best name for the new phase is Smile, you are at KSU!

      Finally, I would like to thank Allah Almighty and the political leadership for their efforts to push the higher education institutions up to achieve signal distinctiveness and creativity. I also thank the leadership for selecting on time the proper person in the proper place.
