Idle Academic Departments

       I wrote months ago that development process was limited to the administration premises. I thought that the situation would remain unchanged for long. I wished that the spree development would spread university-wide to cover all colleges, deanships, and departments.   

      Today, we are in the threshold of an overall development, covering all King Saud University (KSU) branches Kingdom-wide and girl branches. Development is everywhere; language of university discourse has changed much; and the hustle and bustle on campus has gone up. Yet, some academic departments remain idle. They should move on and partake in the development process.  

      Hopes are pinned that all departments would keep up with the improvement process because they are nucleuses of challenges taken up by the KSU.
