First Geography Day
The First Geography Day was launched by H.E. Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman, president of King Saud University (KSU) last Sunday at the college of Arts. The day was held under the auspices of H.E. Khalid Al-Angary, Minister of Higher Education.
Addressing the attendance, Al-Othman praised the department of geography terming it one of the most important department. He said, "The significance of geography department has gone large after King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, earmarked $ 300 millions to establish King Abdullah Institute for energy, environment, and climate change.
