Nobel Laureates Program  

 

ing Saud University announced its intention to attract a number of Nobel Prize winners in various disciplines to be consultants to the university.

In light of its ambitious strategic vision, which aims to enhance scientific research and development and to establish international collaboration and partnership in research and development, King Saud University is intent to host, throughout the academic year 2007-2008, a number of Nobel Laureates. Such a program aims to discuss aspects of collaboration in scientific research, and to have the visiting Nobel winners deliver public lectures and conduct seminars in their fields of specialty. Through such a program, King Saud University is attempting to enrich the academic community at large. This approach can be fruitful through a proper utilization of the lecturers’ wealth of ideas and rich experience in their respective fields.

 Such a program aims to discuss aspects of collaboration in scientific research, and to have the visiting Nobelists deliver public lectures and present scientific seminars. Through such a distinctive program, King Saud University endeavors to enrich the academic and scientific community at both the university and the Saudi society at large.

 This approach can be fruitful through a proper utilization of the lecturers’ wealth of ideas and through sharing their rich experience in their respective distinctive scientific fields, including medicine, economics, physics, and chemistry.

King Saud University has officially announced of the implementation of "Nobel at KSU" which attracts a number of Nobel Prize winners in various disciplines, such program is basically oriented with several national and strategic objectives.
In the light of its ambitious and strategic visions, and as a part of its plan to enhance the fields of scientific research and development not only nationally but also internationally, King Saud University is determined to host, throughout the academic year 2007-2008, a number of Nobel Laureates in the fields of medicine, economics, physics, and chemistry. Such a program aims at discussing aspects of collaboration in scientific research, and at having the visiting Nobelists deliver public lectures and lead scientific seminars. Such a unique program will enable the University to enrich the academic and scientific community inside and outside KSU.
