Community college was established in Al-Quway’iyah governorate by the highly kind decree, number 10093 of 21/11/1428 that includes the acceptance for opening the college to serve the sons and daughters of the governorate in addition to the neighboring provinces and to reduce the pressure on the establishments of high education in Riyadh city. This college is the newest academic one in the university. It is going to receive the first troop of students with the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 1429-1430 H. The objective of establishing community colleges, particularly near the city of Riyadh province such as the Community College in Al-Quway’iyah governorate, is to decrease pressure on King Saud University in Riyadh, in addition to rehabilitating and qualifying national human cadres in the training programs needed for the local market. Admission in Al-Quway’iyah community college is available to all the graduates of different secondary schools such as scientific, arts, and the commercial schools in addition to the scientific institutes and all that are educationally equal in qualifications.
College Aims Al-Quway’iyah Community College aims to achieve the following targets: Providing students with the basics of knowledge and scientific thinking; things that are urgently needed for work after obtaining the associate degree. Enabling the student to get the ability to apply knowledge and scientific analysis. Supplying the labor market with the trained national cadres needed in the community. Preparing the student adequately through a suitable process of preparation to complete his under-graduate study as well as post-graduate ones and to do scientific research in different sciences and specializations. In brief, the main aim of establishing Al-Quway’iyah community college can be canned in the nutshell of attracting students from the towns that surround Riyadh and providing them with the distinguishing kind of education that can make them precious contributors to the work force of Saudi Arabian work force and its community.
