Programs :

          The department provides two programs :

¨     First program : the Postgraduate Diploma program :

A one year course for training teaches of Arabic as a second or foreign language .

Students in this program are required to complete a total of 40 credit hours ( 20 credit hours per semester )

          Students who successfully compete this program are awarded " the postgraduate Diploma for training teachers of Arabic to non – native speakers.

 Admission requirements :

The applicant must :

1-have a minimum of B . A ( or equivalent ) in Arabic , education , or Islamic studies with a grade average of (good) at least .

2-must have an experience in teaching Arabic to non – native speakers .

3-not to be over 45 years old .

4-pass the admission test .

¨     Second program : 

          One – semester course for training teachers in service of Arabic to non – native speakers . student in this course are required to successfully complete a total of 20 credit hours .

Admission requirement :

Applicant must :

1-have animism of secondary school with an average of v. good at least .

2-be a teacher of  Arabic to non – native speakers or a graduate of language and culture programme in the institute .

3-not be over 45 years old .

4-pass the admission test .

-Student who pass the course will be awarded the : certificate of completion of the course for training teachers of Arabic to non – native speakers .
