About the department:

The Department of Teacher Preparation is one of three departments in the Arabic Language Institute. It has the following objectives:

1-     Providing students with theoretical background in modern theoretical and applied linguistics as well as applying its theories to the Arabic language.

2-     Improving students' Knowledge, experience and abilities in pedagogy and methods of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.

3-      Preparing students for actual teaching of Arabic to non-native speakers.               

     4-  Providing students with the necessary skills in the preparation of teaching and lesson plans as well as the preparation and evaluation of language tests.
