Title of Master Thesis: Comparative Study Between the Effects of Both Upper and Lower Limbs Exercises and its Relevant on Blood Pressure, Pulse Rate and Respiratory Rate
Subject: The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of both arm and leg exercises on blood pressure, pulse rate and respiratory rate in both males and females. The exercise was performed on the bicycle ergometer for a definite time, speed and without resistance. The results showed that there is a significant increase in systolic blood pressure, pulse rate and respiratory rate in both arm and leg exercises in males and females, while there is no significant difference in the diastolic blood pressure. The increase was more significant with arm exercise than with leg exercise.

Subject: The study aimed to demonstrate the effects of both active and passive exercises either for upper or lower limbs on the level of atrial natriuretic peptides on the blood in both males and females. The exercise is performed on the bicycle ergometer. The results showed that there is a significant increase in the level of atrial natriuretic peptide after both active and passive exercises in both males and females. The increase was more pronounced with active exercise and with upper limb exercise than with passive and with lower limb exercise.
