The Saudi Society of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
was established based on a decision by the Council of King Saud University on 21/8/1425H corresponding to 16/11/2003G according to Article (20) of the Council of Higher Education and Universities, and Article (4/1) of the Policies governing the scientific societies at the Saudi universities.
The Scientific Board decided at their Tenth meeting for the academic year 1425-1426H, held on 21/11/1425H corresponding to 13/6/2004G to form a temporary founding committee for the Saudi Society of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology according to Article (4/2) of the policies governing the scientific societies at the Saudi universities.
The five members of the temporary founding committee are:
- Lamya Al-Abdulkarim, Ph.D., CCC-SLP Chairperson
- Heidi Al-Askary, Ph.D., CCC-SLP Member
- Khayriyah Abduljawad, Ph.D. Member
- Mashael Al-Saud, Msc., CCC-SLP Member
- Ghada Bin-Khamis, Msc. Member
