Degree Requirements for Optometry Bachelor

 

English Course for Health Colleges:                                     9 Hours

 

Unified Program for Health Colleges:                                 14 Hour

Courses in Biostatistics, Chemistry, Physics, and Zoology are taken in level 2.

 

College Core:                                                                          13 Hour

These courses are offered in level 3 must be taken by all students of the College of Applied Medical Sciences.

 

University requirements:                                                       12 Hour

Courses in:

a) Arabic Language.  (Level 2 to 5).

b) Islamic Studies.     (Level 2 to 5).

 

Optometry Program Courses:                                               88 Hour

These are offered in level 4 to 9.

 

Total Units required for graduation:                                    136 Hour

 

Professional Registration:

One calendar year of supervised internship is required for licensure.
