We are pleased to announce that  'The Saudi Association of Optometry and Vision Sciences' is formed on dated 25/10 / 1428 AH 06/11/2007. The optometrist meeting was held at the Saudi Commission for health specialties and was attended by more than 60 optometrist from all over the country (Saudi Arabia). Members of the association chose 11 executive member to administer the association.

 

 

 Dr.Al-Farhan has been appointed as a deputy head of female

section in optometry department  .

 

 

 

Dr Saeed Akhtar has joined the dept as assistant prof from UK.

Dr SA is well known about his research in the field of corneal ultrastructural pathology.

 

Dr Ferial Zuraid has joined the dept as assistant prof after

obtaining her PhD from USA.

 

 

Dr. Stella Brigges has joined the dept after long standing carrier

 in Canada.  Her main research interest is in retina.
