1) The department is currently preparing to move to the new location at the University Campus in Dereyia.

2) The new department has been equipped with modern radiology and medical imaging machines as well as new educational tools.

3) Dr. Mohammad Alnafea has recently joined the department after achieving his PhD from the University of Surry in the United Kingdom.

4) Mr.Esameldeen Mohammed Tom Babiker has recently joined the department working as a lecturer.

The department has one program in which students study the different medical imaging modalities.

After passing all the required courses and finishing the internship training year, the student gets a Bachelor degree in Radiologic Technology.

The department currently is updating the curriculum according to the international progress in the field Radiological Sciences, as will as the markets needs.
