Welcome to the English Department of Faculty of Science and Humanitarian Studies, Al-Kharj. We are a newly established department with a mission to teach the students how to think logically, read critically, and communicate effectively.

Our faculty members are well qualified and known for their professional excellence. They possess extraordinary dedication to teach at every level  enhancing students’ critical thinking skills and  imaginative capabilities. They are providing required teaching services by using interactive and communicative teaching techniques.

On the whole we are following open-door and open-mind policy to satisfy the learning needs of every student at individual level with a belief that individuals achieve their understanding and insight in different ways.

All of our courses focus on the academic English skills students need for their studies at the university level. Special emphasis is given on teaching  advanced listening, speaking and reading skills, as well as complex English grammatical forms and structures, and academic composition.
