Researching labs are including the following components:
Computer center:
In order to be updated with rapid development in the field of modern technology, computer center has been equipped by the most modernized computers technology and its attachments, designing, planning and painting programs, where there are seven computer labs in the college which consist of more than 450 computer and more than eight painters for printing architectural plans, a number of laser and salient printers, beside the advanced scanners in different measures. All of these devices connected by its attachments with local area Network that connecting special network for the university. The systems, equipments and programs are updating periodically and the students enroll in a number of studying subjects through which they are executing their projects on computer.
Photography Lab:
Photographic imaging lab is facilitating different photo services for all members of teaching staff, technicians and student, and it is including advance shooting devices, and its services include providing instructions and directions concerning with photography art, films preparation and slides films, recopying slides, maximization of pictures in different measures, microfilm shooting on slides, shooting symposiums and occasions with video, shooting distinguished designing and planning projects which are conducting usually in every semester and saving them.
Constructions Lab:
It includes a group of minimized and specialized examining and test devices for testing different constructing systems for buildings. Also the devices of testing Net cameras, complete frameworks. The constructions lab provide the student with constructive information and other aspects which should be observed during the phases of preparing architectural designs that conducted by the students in different designing subjects.
Materials experiments and constructing buildings:
Different samples of traditional and innovated building materials are exhibited in this experiment and conducting different tests for its strengthen - softness – thermal conduction – color – and ways of installation and fixing. The experiment serves the students in different subjects such as building materials, architectural designing and internal decoration.
Sound, light and thermals lab:
Various tests on architectural designs in the field of natural light and artificial lightening for architectural gaps are carried out in this lab, and it includes studying the elements of natural light, its accounts, type of different holes, and conducting the requirements of the actual accounts for gaps from artificial lighting and others. For voices, the tests are under processing in various fields concerning with the type of materials for finalizing gaps, the shapes of internal and external gaps and its effect on extent of voice transmission, its volume and type.
Transferring/ Transportation lab and environmental studies:
It is one of the most modernized labs in college of architecture and planning. It is provides a group of computer and manual traffic restriction equipments to support researchers and students to conduct traffic field studies. Also, there are computer devices, special programs for analyzing and processing traffic information. The lab will be provided by devices of measuring environmental pollution, devices of measuring the level of noise, and devices of imaging the type of traffic.
