1) Bachelor program
The department grants the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arabic language and literature after ( ) hours study. The department is planning –after inquiring the opinions of our students and our faculty members as well as employment entities -to inaugurate academic courses that enrich the students with a set of functional skills that are suitable to him and satisfy the needs of job market.
During 1426 – 1427 h academic year, a new syllabus was developed by the Department. The syllabus is being reviewed and evaluated after two years of application. All faculty members have been charged to submit their written suggestions about the course of work in the syllabus and the methods of its improvement and development.
In the meantime, the Department is working attempting to modify its syllabus -according to the university vision and orientation to get the students acquire the employment necessary skills- to coincide with the rapid developments seen by the education movement on national, regional and international levels. Thus new courses are added taking into account the introduction of preparatory year in the syllabus as well as the practical side through introducing the field training in the syllabus.
