The Academic work in the college of Arts demands an extra ordinary effort and a bit of Creative scientific thinking that leads to Excellence and creativity . That is only because of the fact that ( College of Arts ) is the first University colleges since they are expected to be a source of inspiration for others and is the bearer of the baneer intellectual leadership in society , including their theories in human knowledge and prolific production of scientific awards and its global and regional and local . Moreover , it is the personal keeper of our nation basic ground and the identity of the genius of the place and time and the authenticity of the long history of human .
Out of the past vision , the Academic Affairs of the College of Arts form an advisory committee , its basic mission is to make proposals for Academic work in general , This is in addition to a number of committees under the terms of Academic Affairs distributed its work on several units and accommodate different stages of study , they consider the affairs of the educational program and study , plans , and oversees the unit students on a school schedules , processing and deletion addendum , and case-studies student Such as the various entry and the weakness of the school term and conversion of the section to another , or from or to the Faculty of Arts . The academic Affairs also oversees the flow of the all tests in college and examination of plans Theses and postgraduate programs . its role is central in organizing the educational and academic in its three corners ( the Professor, student and the curriculum ) especially in the current period is the king Saud University , a qualitative change in their programs and plans to study philosophy in university education.
