At the present time, human resources activity has become a specialized academic field characterized by professionalism. Wide range of technical means is presently available for human resources specialists that can be applied for making maximum use of human resources in organizations. Human resources management has become a "profession" having its professional societies, ethical standards, periodical publications, and specific research institutes specialized in studying different issues in its field. Accordingly, importance of human resources management specialists has increased, where organizations are keen to recruit human resources management specialists having high qualifications.  Employment in that field requires availability of specialized academic degree in the field of human resources management, through which individual get acquainted with various theories on human resources and organizational behavior, in addition to the various rules and regulations organizing human resources.

Human resources department, which is considered among the first academic departments on the level of the Arab world, looks forward to be a pathfinder in education, research, and society service in human resources management specialization, in line with the university and College  of Business Administration visions and society requirements, in order to fulfill the labor market needs of human resources management specialists.

Consolidation of the message of the university and College  in education, research and society service through preparing excellent students possessing knowledge, skills and basic tools in the field of human resources management required by labor market. Developing the College  teaching staff members within the section to increase their effectiveness in research and education and participating in activities and tasks of society service.

                                     Department Objectives                                        

· Qualifying the graduates to meet the needs of various sectors in the field of human resources management.
· Providing the students with the modern knowledge in the field of human resources management pertinent to domestic and international environments.
· Making the students acquire the basic skills in the field of human resources management.
· Connecting the student directly with the labor market through focusing on practical applications in the field of specialization and practical training on application of knowledge and skills in the field of human resources management to accelerate their integration in the labor market.
· Developing the students' skills in preparation of scientific researches in the field of human resources management.
· Developing the students' skills in using computer and information technology.
· Developing the students' skills in using English language in the field of human resources management.
· Developing the students' skills in communications, collective work, analysis and critical thinking.
· Authenticating and enriching scientific research in the field of human resources management through encouraging the section teaching staff members to look into realistic problems of the society and participating in society service in the various fields related to human resources management.

                               Requirements of Specialization                                

After finishing of the preparatory year at the university, student applies to the College , and admission is processed after he fulfills its conditions.
