Research Center


Research center is important to push the activities of scientific research and progress in various areas of specialization of the College, where the Center encourage faculty members and researchers to conduct scientific research, coordinate, and provide the necessary requirements, and also work on establishing refereed specialized journals.

Goals

The objectives of the research center focus on the following:
  • Encourage researchers and faculty members to conduct research in various areas of the college specializations, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, and software engineering.

  • Studying the needs and scientific problems facing the government institutions and the private sector, and to guide the research for serving these sectors through the channels of communication between the college and governmental entities and institutions as well as private institutions.

  • Collaborating with local research centers and international scientific research centers.

  • Establishing specialized scientific journals, reviewing research articles and publishing them.

  • Establishing links and partnerships between researchers in the college and other faculties to conduct joint research.

  • Supporting researches proposed by faculty members and providing requirements.

  • Supporting graduate students' research.

  • Organizing frequent scientific lectures, as well as seminars and conferences.

  • Providing consultations, and technical support to governmental and private institutions in the areas of specialization.

The center will start after the university approval.
