Strategic Objectives of Research Chairs

The department will use Research Chairs funds in achieving strategic national objectives referred to earlier through by several means, including:

1.    Alliance with leading departments and research centers worldwide for knowledge development.

2.    Contribute to the establishment of research and development centers and technological incubators in the piece of land allocated within the campus (two million square meters).

3.    Enabling the department to attract scientists such as winners of the Nobel Prizes (as visiting faculty), and King Faisal International Award or Prince Sultan International Prize for Water or equivalent awards and prizes (as full-time teaching and research jobs) in the fields of clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.

4.    Attracting and sponsoring creative and talented students at the postgraduate level.
