• Congratulations to Dr. Asiri

The faculty members and staff of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy are celebrating the appointment of Dr. Yosef Asiri as the new Dean of the College of Pharmacy. Dr. Asiri is the first Dean to be chosen from our department.

 

 


• A New Computer Lab

A new computer lab has been inaugurated in the Drug & Poison Information Center. The lab comprised 40 computer terminals that are connected to the Internet. It will be used for teaching purposes.

 

 


• Another Milestone for the Department

Dr. Mohammad S. Al-Sultan, the Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society. The Department faculty members and staff are rejoicing this milestone appointment.

 

 


• The new Pharm.D. Curriculum

The department is making active steps towards the implementation of the new Pharm.D. Curriculum

 

 


• The Pharmacokinetics Lab

The Pharmacokinetics lab in KKUH analyzed more than 5000 blood and plasma samples this month for the purpose of therapeutic drug monitoring.

 

 


• New Chairman of Clinical Pharmacy:

Dr. Mohammad S. Al-Sultan has been selected by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy as the Chairman of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy.
