1. Consultancies: Some of the staff members of the Center provided their expertise and con­sultations to national, regional and international agencies and organizations. Just to mention few: King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Riyadh; Ministry of Health; Universities, Commissions and Technical Development Establishments of Gulf Cooperative Council Countries; WHO Eastern Medi­terranean Regional Office (EMRO); World Health Organization Headquar­ters and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

3. Analysis of crude drugs and herbal formulation (chemically, biologi­cally and toxicologically) for government agencies, private sector and individuals.
4. Provides information on natural, herbal and homeopathic products.
5. Training to the graduate students and those who involved in the field of medicinal plants research from Gulf, African and other countries.
