Moving faster ahead and competing with world leading Higher Education Institutions , King Saud University has jumped sharply to the position 380 (from being above 3000  just few months back). This distinguished achievement has been reported by the world Ranking Web known as WebOmetrics (Click here). Dr. A. A. Alfantookh, supervisor of  KSU electronic gate on the internet announced that KSU in now among the top 400 Universities worldwide according to that site. KSU is  No. 1 among all of the Arab and Muslim world institutes. While KSU is ranked No. one among the Middle east and African Higher Education Institutions; it is ranked No. 28 in Asia.

Eng. Issam Alwagait, director of the E-gate, said that the leading level was achieved by the cooperative effort of all workers on the site and also by the effort of faculty members and members of all deanships and admins. Eng. Issam linked this to the leadership of Prof. A. A. Alothman, KSU rector.

It is noteworthy that the university jumped in the international rankings of universities figure of post-3000 figure to 380, in the classification issued by the Centre itself. The Rector of KSU is not surprising that the university could reach this level under the new programmes and projects implemented recently blessing the leadership of the Kingdom for this achievement. As cross-Chancellor Dr Ali bin Saeed al-Ghamdi, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement.
It is worth mentioning that King Fahd University was ranked 420 on the level of global universities. As King Fahd University came second Arab Centre 420 in the world, while King Abdulaziz University was ranked in the 2106 Arabwide. And Saudi Arabia occupied in the classification center 83 of the 240 state level
