Welcome to the College of Sciences at King Saud University, one of the most renowned higher educational centers in the region.

            The College of Sciences offers a wide variety of important and stimulating Bachelor programs of both theoretical and applied nature, designed with the aim of suitably matching the rapidly-developing needs of society both within and outside the Kingdom. [Link of Departments]  These programs offer students the opportunity to explore and choose from a wide range of attractive programs.  Students will be able to learn about the broad variety of exciting career opportunities available to every graduate in every program, so that the students may embark and proceed with their studies ambitiously, and with a sense of success and achievement from their first day at college.

            Academic programs at the college have been designed so profoundly and diversely that students are not only given a comprehensive and specialized vision, but are also encouraged to start thinking about and planning their future.  Students would therefore find themselves endowed with the skills and the knowledge that would help them face the challenges in real life after their graduation.

            Efforts in the College of Sciences are focused on making students face the challenges that will have resulted from the academic and scientific progress which requires high individual skills and great knowledge output both in educational and information fields.

            The College of Sciences serves nearly three thousand students [link to students in various departments], in addition to offering General Courses to a large number of students in other colleges such as the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Applied Medical Sciences, Arts, Engineering, Information and Computer Services, Food and Agricultural Sciences, and others.  The number of students in various sections available at the College is nearly forty thousand males and females in a single academic year.

            The college has recently modernized all of the programs to suit the modern scientific advances; new programs have been introduced to meet the competitive market needs in order to draw highly-qualified graduates. The college also offers many job opportunities to draw an internationally-renowned and culturally diverse community of professors, scholars and researchers to join its various departments to develop the college’s educational and research programs [link of Members of Staff].

            Moreover, the College offers postgraduate study programs in both theoretical and applied fields; departments offer MSc and Ph. The College also organizes a number of cultural, social, and scientific activities for students, members of staff, and the community. It also maintains strong ties with local, regional and international academic groups, and serves the community through providing its services to many ministries and government sectors.
