KSU, Riyadh is happy to announce
the discovery of a specific lung cancer biomarker
by a team of scientists and students,
headed by
Prof. V.Masilamani
of laser group of physics & Astonomy department, College of Sience, KSU.
The discovery were done in collaboration with Dr. Elango of Thendrel, Inc. a biotech enterprise, based in Virginia, USA and by MCD a cancer diagnostic centre in India.
The research team in KSA consisted of:
1- Dr. V. Masilamani.
2- Dr. M. Al Salhi.
3- Dr. A. Al Dowyyan.
4- Dr. A. Al Diab.
5- Dr. M. Al Hajjar.
6- Dr. M. H. Al Akeely.
and two graduate girl students:
1- Nadia Yousef.
2- Wafa Al Saleh.
Soon this discovery in USA and Chair for Laser diagnosis is to be created.
