v     Scanning electron microscope (SEM)

It used to study the topographical surface of different samples and show the microstructures of these surfaces.  The (SEM) is enhanced with additional instruments like gold polishing of samples and chrome polish.

This scientific instrument is of benefit to Zoology, Geology, Botany, Microbiology and Chemistry departments plus other Colleges like medicine, dentistry, pharmacy etc.
