Higher Studies :

            The department introduces programs for Master and Ph.D in Zoology. The M.Sc. includes 5 different pathways :  

1. Animal ecology and pollution.

2. Cell biology, genetics and histology.

3. Physiology, developmental biology and embryology.

4. Entomology and parasitology.

5. Aquatic biology

            The enrolled students for M.Sc. should complete 30 credit hours (24 units courses + 6 units thesis) in order to be eligible for graduation. Whereas those for Ph.D should fulfill 18 credit hour courses, the intensive (qualifying) exam and preparing the dissertation. Generally speaking, the departmental staff members teaches approximately 6000 male and female undergraduate students per academic year.
