I. Invertebrate animals
This group pertains to Sub-Kingdom multicellular eukaryotes of the animal Kingdom, the invertebrates include groups of different phyla in which some are close to chordate. The invertebrate samples include a huge portion of the class insecta. The following represent the shown invertebrate samples :
1. Marine specimens : as Sea anemones, Jelly fish , Sea star, Octopus, Squid and Snails.
2. Phylum Platyhelminthes : as tape and hepatic worms.
3. Phylum Nematoda : as Escaris worms.
4. Phylum Annelida : as Earth worm, Sand worm (Niris) and Leeches.
5. Class Insecta : This Class follows Phylum Arthropoda in which there is an abundant number of samples that shown within glass boxes as a part of the invertebrate fauna samples. It should be mentioned that all samples of this class were collected from the native environment.

6. Class Arachnida : This class follows phylum arthropoda which includes a number of orders as Scorpaenidae, arachnida and ticks. The museum includes different types of Scorpions as Leivrus quinguestriatus (the yellow one with black segment), the big and small black ones as well.

7. Sub-phylum Crustacea : This sub-phylum is pertaining to phylum Arthropoda. The swimming crab (Neptumus pelagicus) and the Hermit crab (Pagurus sp.) are shown examples of this sub-phylum.


8. Phylum Mollusca : This phylum includes animals with no segments, coelomic and flaccid. In the typical status, The molluska are symmetric have 3 regions in the body and the skin is soft. The samples of this phylum included in the museum are chiton, the desert snail, Bulinus, Biomphalaria and Limnaea snails, squid and octopus (Octopus vulgaris) .


9. Phylum Echinodermata : This phylum includes the starfish sea urchin and the fragile starfish.
